How will I be charged when upgrading/downgrading plans?

Gelacy operates through Shopify's trusted payment system, ensuring all subscription changes are handled seamlessly within your familiar Shopify environment. This integration means transparent pricing, secure transactions, and unified billing for all your business needs.

I. How Our Billing Works

Gelacy uses Shopify's payment system for all subscription management. This means:

  • Secure processing through Shopify's trusted platform
  • Unified billing with your other Shopify charges
  • Transparent pricing with no hidden fees
  • Familiar payment process you already know and trust

II. Upgrading Your Plan

When upgrading from a lower to a higher plan, you will be charged the prorated difference based on the remaining days in your current billing cycle, in accordance with Shopify's billing policy. For additional information, please reach out to Shopify support.

III. Downgrading Your Plan

When you switch to a lower plan, Shopify automatically provides an credit based on:

  • Price difference between plans
  • Number of days remaining in your billing cycle

This credit can be used for any future Shopify app purchases.

IV. Important Billing Notes

Key Information About Your Billing:

  • Billing starts after your trial period ends
  • Monthly cycles last 30 days
  • Auto-renewal happens at the end of each cycle
  • Charges appear in your Shopify monthly bill
